NAMIBIA - Etosha N.P.

Etosha is one of the biggest National Parks in Africa and here you can find any kind of animal: 114 mammals, 340 birds, 110 retiles and so on.
We drove along the road bordered the South side of the big salted pan in the middle of the park.
Get out of the car is forbidden, because of the lions, the leopards, the elephants and so on!
During the dry season it's easier to see the animals, because the rangers put water in the 100 small ponds along the road: during the day many zebras, anthelopes, kudus, giraffes and elephants are close to the ponds drinking and eating.
We saw also a lion and a lioness, but the best place for felines is Botswana, not Namibia.

Inside Etosha you can rest in three different camp sites: Namoutoni, Halali and Okaukuejo. In every camp site you can rent a place for the tent, a bungalow, a room and there's also a restaurant and a shop.

The camp sites are closed after the sunset: it's very dangerous going around the park at night!

Out of any camp site, just beside the fence, there's a pond where at night you can see the animals coming for drinking. We saw a family of rhinos, a lion hunting an anthelope and a fight between two elephants! Wonderful!

Namoutoni

In Etosha National Park the bush is very short, so you can see animals from very far away.

We stayed three days and nights in Etosha, sleeping every night in a different camp. I loved every day, because each day we saw something different.
